Joshua once heard a messenger from God say, “Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy” (Joshua 5:15, nrsv). Communing with God in this sanctuary can enable us to sense the Holy as well. With love for God and for each other, we reach out in friendship to one another.
