Announcements

Question one of the Westminster Larger Catechism asks: “What is the chief and highest end of man?”  The answer is: "Man's chief and highest end is to glorify God and fully to enjoy Him forever."  People ask, “What is the meaning of life?”  This is the answer to that question.  We are to glorify God.  This is the key to all human happiness—to eat, sleep, and think God, to devote our entire lives to God.

The trip to Bonclarken planned for July 27 by the Women of the Church is cancelled.

Dorcus Pratt is in Gaston Memorial Hospital.  Frances Nivens has been transferred to HealthSouth.  Please remember all our sick and shut-ins in your prayers.

There will be a Summerfest meeting this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.  Everyone who is interested in participating in a Summerfest fundraiser for the church is invited to attend..
