Call to Worship (Psalm 145:1)
Leader: The Lord be with you.
People: And with you also.
Leader: I will extol you, my God and King,
People: And bless your name forever and ever.
Opening Prayer (in Unison)
Almighty God, who art the protector of all who trust in thee, without whose grace nothing is strong, nothing is holy, increase and multiply upon us thy mercy, that by thy holy inspiration we may think the things that are right and by thy power may perform the same, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.[by Martin Luther, 1526]
Prayer of Confession (In Unison)
O God and Father most gracious and full of compassion, have mercy upon us in the name of thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. And as thou dost blot out our sins and stains, magnify and increase in us day by day the grace of thy Holy Spirit: that as we acknowledge our unrighteousness with all our heart, we may be moved by that sorrow which shall bring forth true repentance in us, mortifying all our sins and producing in us the fruits of righteousness and innocence which are pleasing unto thee; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. [by John Calvin, 1542]
Declaration of Forgiveness
Leader: When we know we have done wrong, when we pour out our hearts, and bare our souls to God, and humbly trust that Christ can make us whole,
People: Jesus says, "Your sins are forgiven, your faith has saved you; go in peace.

The Western York County Christian Ministerial Association welcomes you to this Community Thanksgiving Service. Let us express our gratitude to God. Let us be mindful that every good and perfect gift comes from the hand of God. “O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 118:1, nrsv).
The offering tonight will go entirely to the Ministerial Transient Fund. This Fund is used to help people passing through York who are down on their luck. The fund provides a tank of gas, a meal, or a night’s lodging for families in need. We ask you to give generously.
